Off-Grid Systems
Photovoltaic power generation reduces (non-renewable) energy consumption or simply provide energy when other sources are not available. A hybrid backup power system combine photovoltaic generation with other forms of generation, usually a fuel generator or the grid itself (CFE).

Available Power
An efficient solar powered system provides energy on demand, and when there is no sunlight. Backup systems consist of a battery bank, inverters and chargers.
Charge controllers are equipment that take power from photovoltaic panels and store it in batteries. Backup is as durable as your battery bank. When there is no sunlight source, the system will provide power on demand.
- Still available without sunlight.
- Battery Bank, Inverter and Charger.
- Batteries are charged by the solar panels.
- Nighttime power backup.
On cloudy days, power generation from the panels is reduced, but the battery bank acts as a backup.
The power backup depends on the number of batteries installed and the consumption.
The number of batteries will depend on the amount of power you require, i.e. the appliances or other devices you have connected in the stand-alone system.
