The company Maz Sol Energía Solar delivered a silent alarm system at the Elvira Lizárraga Elementary School, located in the municipality of Pitiquito, Sonora, last May 2026, with the aim of strengthening safety in educational spaces and protecting the school community.
The donation, led by engineers Juan Manuel Estrada Pérez and César Alcaraz, reaffirms Maz Sol Energía Solar’s commitment to the safety of children in Sonora. Mayor Janeth García Mazón publicly acknowledged the company’s initiative, highlighting that thanks to her support the institution becomes the fifth school in the state to have this type of equipment.
During the event, the city president congratulated the head of staff, Mtra. Ana Elsa García, for the efforts made and stressed the importance of collaboration between authorities, school community and private initiative. He emphasized that actions like this strengthen the protection of students and consolidate a model of joint work.
The ceremony was attended by municipal and educational authorities, including the Director of Civil Protection, Profr. Luis León Bermúdez; the Director of Public Security, Juan Carlos Valdivia Parra; the Subcomandante de Bomberos de Pitiquito, José Antonio Martínez Celaya; and representatives of the Regional Coordination of the Center for Crime Prevention and Citizen Participation. School supervisors, sector heads, mothers, teachers and students also attended.
The silent alarm system, designed to meet school protection protocols in an efficient and discreet way, was installed thanks to the technical support of Maz Sol Energía Solar, company that has expressed its willingness to continue collaborating on projects that strengthen the well-being of educational institutions in the municipality.
Maz Sol Energía Solar, in addition to its participation in school safety projects, has promoted clean energy initiatives in the region, installing solar panels in community spaces and promoting energy saving in public institutions.
